Flamebreak door blanks are manufactured with a three layer tri-laminated hardwood lumber core which is continuously edge glued. The lightweight three layer core is suitable for easy machining and door blank conversion and fabrication.

Description
Flamebreak lightweight door blanks are manufactured as blanks for conversion into door sets. The Flamebreak product is supplied un-lipped or lipped and can be laminated, painted or veneered.
FLAMEBREAK 430 (FD30)
44mm thick External Door Blank with 4mm hardwood ply face.
Lightweight door blank with a solid timber tri-laminated core.
Approximate weight of 30-31kg per 2135 x 915 blank.
Sound insulation up to Rw.34 dB in various configurations – in accordance with Building Regulations Approved document “E” & Building Bulletin 93- please refer to various Acoustic Seal Manufacturers for their relevant performance data on Flamebreak.
FD30 fire rating tested in accordance with BS 476-22 and BS EN 1634 -1
U – Value 1.0 W/m2k in accordance with Building Regulations Approved document “L”
Mechanical / Severe Duty Rating – exceeding the minimum requirements of DD171 and BSEN 1192 for “Severe Duty” performances.
