Description
Trussed rafters, also known as roof trusses, provide a structural framework to support the roof fabric, ceilings or floors of buildings in both residential and commercial structures.
Robust and reliable, roof trusses can be used on a wide range of roofs, both cold and warm, and a wide range of super structures including timber, masonry and steel frame.
- 35mm standard roof truss: the standard roof truss used for the majority of new build houses across the UK. These trusses can also be used for garages and extensions, as well as self-build projects.
- Attic standard overhang: these trusses are used when habitable space is required within the room zone. These trusses are designed as attic style with larger sections of timber to support additional loadings which allow people to live within the truss zone.
- Attic standard overhang, attic cantilevered eaves and attic stubbed eaves all refer to the end detail of the truss only, where the trusses bear onto the wall heads.
- 35mm mono: these are sloped in one direction and often used in porches and for hip end.
